i don't see heelgaurds on your bike either ?????
it's ok, if you have your cellphone to call 911,
the paramedics/fireman will find you in about an hour, with your leg twisted around the axle, broken in 2 places, and foot ripped out of socket, facing the wrong direction, and the $11,000 helicoptor ride to the trauma center only lasts 3 minutes
oh wait, that only happens to me
WHAT! You better check the jetting in winter. Not as detrimental but still should be checked! I:I
I have had my daughters Raptor since new in sept'08, Going on it's fourth year, It's all about maintenance don't matter what ya got. {hint-Check the valve adjustment at least once a month} As far as speed, The blasty will smoke it all day long!
i didn't say that you shouldn't jet a 4 stroke during winter, i just meant it wasn't a necessity like a 2 stroke (2 stroke gets it's lube through gas as we all know) and a 4 stroke doesn't.
No, a 2 stroke gets it's lube from the 2 stroke oil you mix in with the gas, it is cooled by the gas. 4 strokes are cooled by the oil as well as lubed by the oil.
u can not be lean with the 440 kit, or ur askin for a blown motor. U still stock on the oil cooler and oil resovior i see? or what ever the oil thing is.. and a 426 will keep up with it. Its all about the compression buddy, that 440 can be a 10:1 and have a 426 with 11:1 compression and that 426 will haul ass
a 2 stroke if lean will kaboom a 4 stroke will pop pop pop noticeable.... so I agree casey a 4 stroke is alot more forgiving and gives u pleny of warning.... ya gotta be deaf and stupid to blow up a 4 stroke due to being lean
