Ok,
I've been searching quite a bit this morning and can't find much information. I had a bent up frame on my 95 so I bought an 03 frame. I knew the brakes were different from the get go.

How can I do a rear cable setup on an 03 frame? It seems the cable is way long too.

How have people mounted the front cable box for the front brakes on an 03 frame?

thanks!

Nobody has ran cable brakes on an 03+? I'm pretty sure somebody has.

haha i bet not man, have you fabbed up the rear brakes and are sure it too long? dosent seem like it should be,can you just route it a little differently to take up some of the slack? i can get yo ua pic of teh front mount if ya like, that one should be cake to make.

the carrier is diffrent and the cable brake wont just bolt on..
but i do have a shee caliper that will bolt right on with new pads and block off 30 bucks and its yours.

i think he has just the frame, but iadubber if you do have a new carrier sell that cable system on ole feegay and pick this up you could easily get 30-50 bucks out of the cable caliper.

I'll check it out a bit more this weekend. I think with your bracket I should be ok as long as I can get by buddy to weld it on.

I have the rear swinger from a 95, so caliper and everything bolt up fine. I didn't have time lastnight to mess with that. I had to get my A arms bolted up so I could move it around.

ok man no prob, once you clean that bracket up it will take 5 seconds to weld it on, should work out fine.
