13T Sprocket

Just fitted a 13t "Edit" 12 tooth front sprocket with a stock rear.

Boy what a difference in acceleration, my son is only of slight build and now has trouble keeping the front end on the ground in the lower gears.

I either have to feed him up, fix a bag of sand on the nose, or make that swinger extension I have been toying about.

Anyone got plans or pix of a bolt on swinger extension?

13T Sprocket is standerd with a 40T any way!!!!

But shoudnt 12T give it more acceleration making it wheely more?
More front tooth more top speed???

Yeah I went from a 13 to a 12 and gained heaps of front end lift.

Problem is that the boy is so light he has trouble getting far enough up the tank to keep the front down.

Why did you go to a 12T? Did he want different speed?

He entered in an event that required more get up and go off the line.

Didn't get to use it, got rained out, so it's back to the 13t.
