06 falls on face but fires first kick

This is my first 2stroke ever and love it already, just doesnt want to rev like it should. buddy said it could just be loose connection to cdi box or the boyesen reeds aint seeled right. Can someone please give me some clues to what i need to do. It has fmf pipe, new clutch, boyesen power reeds. Bought for 500 bucks last night and begging to ride asap. any help will be greatly appreciated

Do allot of reading and searching for leak down test , plug chop ,and jetting info !

have done leak down test and plug chop ... im desperate to get this this rollin my buddy helpin me with it has a 94 and im hoping to get the out side by side this weekend ... are there and little quick fixes it could be... ive seen some thing about the tors but not sure if that would make any difference

think im gonna thouroughly clean everything in the morning and see if that will make a difference.

So did it pass the leak down test?

Did you do a compression test?

Did the plug return a recommended colour ring?

What main jet is in there?

What oil and ratio are you using?

If it passed the plug chop and the leak down test, and the compression is good the beast should be flying, unless you have an electrical problem.

clean the carb........

Passed everything cleaned carb and air intake and fired right up and runs perfectly, guess there was just a small blockage somewhere. Love this thing even though it enjoys tryin to throw me off
