i have just recently put an older motor on my 04 blaster frame and the stator has the old 4 wire hook up and my wiring harness has 5 wires..... what can i do to make it work???? or is it even possible? i have read neumerous other forums on putting a newer stator in an older application.... but i have the opposite... can anyone help?

i know putting a 5 plug stator and on 4 plug harness you have to ground the extra green wire on the stator side.so try grounding the extra green wire from the harness side and see if that will work
thats what i was thinking i could do but wasnt 100% sure? ill try that this weekend and see if i get my spark bac!!!!! lol
hey guys i jus wanted to let u kno that i grounded the green wire comming from the original 5 wire harness to the ground to the coil and it has plenty of spark now!! thanks for the insight guys....
