03 yamaha blaster no spark!!

Hey guys, I have an 03 yamaha blaster that I got for free. It has a new wiring harness, new coil and plug, new cdi box installed by me and has a tors delete from previous owner. I have everything installed correctly and still I have no spark. I thought it might be the stator but every time I kick it over the headlight turns on. It is missing a kill switch but I didn't think that would be the problem. There's got to be something I'm missing. If Yall could help me out that would be awesome. Previous owner was a meth head so you can imagine what I'm dealing with
