YZ250 what are my choices

I went to finally help my buddy finish his bike 2002 yz250. When he kicked it over it ran then bogged out and made really weird noise. He’s not a rookie to motors Audi mech but never seen this before in a car. Here are the pictures any help of course is great I’m post piston pictures as well took rings off

No doubt, Audi's don't have holes in the cylinder

I'm pretty sure those cylinders are nikasil plated.

or get a different cylinder in better shape
and check clearances between piston and cylinder
or whatever happened to that in the first place

He was a moron and tried to use a f*cked up cylinder why would he do that idk just had a kid tho might have been the reason. Yeah I had to buy the new top end cause of that reason as well being paid back slowly but still I didn’t HAVE to do it but once my surgery is heeled I need someone to rips with!!!
