hey guys, got a 28mm mikuni on the way mods are:
uni
no lid
boyesen pro reeds in stock cage
FMF pipe and powercore2 silencer

should i start about a 280? i have a 260,280 and 290, i was thinking most guys use a 260 for a stock 26mm so maybe with the more airflow of the bigger carb i would step up a couple? any input is appreciated. i figure i'll do a plug chop do verify, but want to make sure i'm starting in the right neighborhood

i believe i got the carb from 89custom with a 260 in it and ran the best for me with a 270

nah i needed it for my stocker, its got some crazy big size that i would never use to hold the spacer under the jet in place.

yea, you should be fine with a 280
