Ok so my blasty has been running a lil weird....it runs real well and sounds real good most of the time but other times it bogs when i dont give it lots of gas and when im at low rpms.....after i get it started in the cold and run it it starts back up fine but stalls occasionlly.....i dont know whats going on but i know it is sumthin cause before in first or second i could pull this things right up into a wheelie comes outa donut in sand or dirt and now it only takes off well when im in high rpms or higher gears u know.....im thinkin it has to do with the carb....please i need help!

sounds to me like maybe a chipped reed. what does the plug tell you about the jetting?
have you done any mods recently? what about the gas? how long has it been in the tank? maybe it's bad gas ..... or just old gas.

Ok im home....what do i do....ill go check the tubes now....btw i just had a fullrebuild done with a stroker crank and it was re-jetted....hope that helps..

wait, so after the rebuild and rejet is when this started happening?
if so then it's gotta be jetting. don't even worry about all the other sh*t, just check your plug condition and adjust the carb accordingly.

lmao....yea no idea how to do that....i just talkined to a mechanic at another shop and after i told him that when i pull my clutch in to shift gears after like the first ten minutes it revs up high till i dump the clutch.....he said there was an air leak somewhere....ahhhh what do i do???? lol

Does your airbox bot go on the carb good and do you have hose clamps on it?
If it doesn`t seal good then that could maybe explain the revving. I dont know much about this stuff though.

Simplest thing to check would be the slide/cable, is the slide closing all the way when you let off of the throttle? How cold is it outside?
You could have moisture freezing somewhere.

i would say pull apart your carb every thing take off the choke all that clean it really good ..check out the reeds make sure they are not cracked, check out the intake boot make sure there is no cracks, and check out the reed gasket make sure it looks good .. and did you get yours ports matched for the stroker?.

you on aim??..

its your reeds, mine did the same thing, get some new vforce3 reeds and itll go away, or boyesen, i like the vforce ones that i had though

Ill see if i can get some new reeds but im betting that when i got dirt in my cylinder last week after the full rebuild that the guy didnt hone the cylinder at all to get any sctraches out and it f*cked up the rings again....ill pop the head and cylinder off today sometime and see bout the reeds later.
