yamaha blaster oil leak

how long had you been riding it? clean it up real good and try and figure out where its coming from. how much oil do you have in the tranny? should be only 650ml
thats a blown shock, done it twice,
almost cried the first time it happened,
oil everywhere on the front of the quad, and got on the motor causing tons of smoke
thought i fried my 8 month old 96 blaster, replaced under warranty
second one happened 1 month after the 2 year warranty ran out, and they wanted $182 for a new replacement,
i got brand new "works steelers" for $250, back in '98,
of course this was well before i knew of ebay
if funds are limited find a cheap stock replacement, or a banshee set on ebay
if you really wanna improve the handling of that blaster, find some "works" set up for your weight, usually under $200 for the set, used
