Yamaha blaster kickstart problem

I just rebuilt the top end on my Yamaha blaster and the kickstart stopped kicking. I then replaced the kickstarter spring and plastic piece that holds it on. It kicked fine and ran good. Then I rode it around for awhile and all of the sudden it started smoking from the cylinder head and shut off right after, it did this twice before the kickstart stopped kicking.

No the kicker is not moving

Sounds like the top end is seized. Gonna need another rebuild, but first you're gonna have to do a bunch of research to find out where you went wrong the first time. Or, let a professional do it.

Before you pull anything apart,, do a leak test.
