My 2002-200ccYamaha Blaster idles properly when the choke is slightly pulled out, but as soon as I push the choke all the way in, the engine starts revving really high. I’m not sure what’s causing this, and I’m looking for advice on how to fix it.
What I’ve Checked and didn’t check So Far:
1. Cleaned the carburetor thoroughly.
2. Didn’t Check for air leaks around the intake and reed valves.
3. Only Adjusted the idle screw kinda
4. but not air/fuel mixture screw,
Additional Details:
• The engine is otherwise stock with no major modifications.
• The issue happens every time, whether the engine is cold or warm.
Questions I Need Help With:
1. Could this be caused by an air leak or incorrect jetting?
2. What else should I check or adjust to fix the high idle?
