Alrighty, I am extremely pissed so sorry if I say anything stupid. I got my jets today for my stock carb and 34mm carb. The jets are interchangable. I can't run the 34 because I do not have the tors block off cable. I put my 310 jet in the stocker after cleaning it really good, turn until snug, then a little extra 1/16 of turn for good measure and snap. Jet breaks off flush with the surface. Out comes a string of curses that I will not repeat on here. So, as I ponder how I shall get the broken jet out. What jet do you guys think I would be running with this set-up.

Stock reeds
Ken's porting and head machining
FMF
Uni pod air filter attached with spacer

Let me guess, 310 would be perfect right?

Oh F**K!are you serious bro?

That sucks!

Try to dremel it out and get the cable its like 15 on ebay.

Id try to dremel a groove in whats left and back it out with a flat head or use an easy out but that aluminum is soft bro so id proceed with caution.

As for jetting id start at about 320 and go down.

a stock blaster with a toomey requires a 310, stock with FMF requires a 270

I will probably try that dremel, I want to go to practice on saturday so that's why I was getting it all together, I don't have another 310! Or enough time to get a 310 of the cable

that'll teach ya! You may be able to get a small flat blade in the broken jet and back it out or.... an easy outwill remove those brass fittings pretty easy. Just don't screw the threads up!

yea shoulda stopped with snug....crap

I will try an easy out, with my luck right now I will probably end up screwing up the threads.

Well that sucks ass bro were they genuine mikuni jets?

Whatever you do take your time and go slowly!

Wish id have known thats the jet you needed i have a 310 i put a 320 in for you before sending it out.

SH!T MAN guess thats only 4 practises now :P lol jjkjkjk that sucks! u might be able to dremal for a flat head screw driver, or use a reverse drill bit if u can find one at home depot or somehting. or try needle nose plyers.

I went back out and wouldn't ya know it, backed out easy as pie. I was just to pissed to even try it. Stupid me.

Budget Blaster: This is with the stock carb, not yours. I need the right cable for yours.

Quadrider: thanks for the offer man! Looks like I will try a 320 just to start the engine to see if it works

Good job King Kong :D J/K sucks tho. Slot, easy out, or maybe jam a small screwdriver into it . Might have to drill it some for either method. Just work slow at it and don't get frustrated, like I would :o

good! glad it came out! for a practice, u wont be pushing the engine too hard as u would with racing, so for now 1 size should not be bad, just be running rich, and thats not a big deal. SO PUT UR BIKE TOGETER CAREFULLY, AND GET OUT THERE THIS WEEKEND!!!!!!! ull neeed all the practice to beat me lol I:I

I don't know man 310 to 320 is a huge ass jump. Might run well that way though. Carefully is key!

u want a tad bit rich tho. especially on how high and how long the rpm's will be up in the red during a race. with my mods, i run 320, and it has a little smoke, but runs awesome. and smoke edventually clears out.

Glad to hear that bro!I would of felt bad had we traded and you didnt even get to use it.

As for the 310-320 thats one size up and wont hurt anything. If you needed a 310 a 320 provides you a safety net if youre planning to beat on it.

Well.......................... if Q10 was a stand up guy, and had an extra jet, maybe hell bring it to practice????????? Don't need any excuses for your little competition do we, a win by default isn't really a win. Unless it blubbers with a 320 it's safer than risking a 300 and meltdown.

JMHO, your results may, and will vary :D

He can't make this practice but if he could bring it I bet he would. I guess I will work with the 320 and see how she runs. Should have a running video tonight if all goes well. Hopefully she doesn't blubber and bog.

No trust me, I will use yours. Unless I break a jet off in there too! haha Good to hear that the 320 won't hurt. I am going to try it now.

Let us know bro.

but like larry said better to be a little richer with the 320 than risk a meltdown at 300.

I think if your actually racing putting the quad through its paces 320 will be better for you than a 310 unless you were really rich to begin with but kinda hard to tell sincd you didnt get to try it.
