good idea with the ketchup,

and just for my own info...the purpose of ruining a good set of plastics to move them back is what ??????
For me, it keeps rocks/mud from flying up on my back when I ride.......sure it happens anyways, but at least they don't directly pelt me in the back of my head. This is the downfall of having an extended swingarm with essentially no rear plastic anymore to shield anything from the rear tires. The biggest plus for me though is that I can actually lean all the way in turns. With the plastic in the stock form, if I lean over, my ass is hitting the plastic. If you move it back, it gives you more room to operate with and is far more comfortable to ride with. You lose that "little quad" feel. Doesn't hurt it looks aesthetically better too.
