I put a new clutch in my blaster. I slipped the clutch a lil, then took off to see if it was working right. I got into 3rd gear. And it quite running. I tried to kick it over again. Now it wont start.. I drained gas. Maybe water, cleaned the carb, took the air filter out to cleen it. Still wont start. And new spark plug. Dont know what to do.

what are all the modifications or new parts you have put on your blaster, if any?

maybe try to see if you're getting a spark put the spark plug threads on metal. you could also do a compression test. or even spray a little starter fluid into the air box and it might fire up. I just put all new gaskets on one of my blasters and it wouldn't start so i tried everything and finally i just bought starter fluid and it started right up

if you put the spray in just leave the seat off take off the air filter and then spray it in there then quickly kick start it should fire up

well he didn't split the cases to change his clutch. so no chance of a new airleak here. what year is your blaster. and are the tors (big box on top of carb) wires still connected? If you have good spark, you've cleaned the carb and it is working properly, I would say it's electrical. did you disasemble the carb to clean it?

edit. sure you have the fule in the on position. pull the fuel line to make sure it is flowing. you said you had spark so i'm assuming you have the key and kill switch on.

96 and when i cleaned it i pulled it off. Its in proper and could a coil be bad? We bump started it today and its seems like it needs a lil more spin to start. Or maybe stator?
