i recently bought a 2002 yamaha blaster and supposedly it needed a piston. well the piston is OK and the cylinder looks perfect and has no scratches in it. i tried to kick over the bike and it will not kick over no matter what i do. the connecting rod also moves side to side alot more than i was told it should. could it be crank rod bearings ? what else could it be ?
plz help
thanks

dont force it.. take the clutchcover off and see if somethings caught in gears or if you can turn it in reverse. maybe somethings under your rod in crank area.

k ill see if thats part of the problem. should the connecting rod move from side to side though ?

ive never seen the bike running i just traded some pitbike i had for it. i dont know too much about this kinda stuff but could it be crank bearings ?
