I believe that's a model of an early 70's dragster engine. Note the dry sump oil system and hemi head with spark plugs down through the valve cover...

A guy I work with is a member of a machinist forum and the guy who made that one (or one identical to that) from scratch laid out the plans and everything. He made it TOTALLY from scratch.

You can purchase an engine VERY similar to that from Conley V8 which can have a two speed transmission mated to it. They're popular in large scale R/C cars. They were a model of the ford 427 "sohc" drag engine but apparently the molds were destroyed in a fire. The new engine is an all new design wedge head V8.

I am expecting around 5.5 hp at 9,500 rpm for the normally aspirated version and about 9 hp for the supercharged version.

Not good enough for a swap.
