Wiseco Piston crown holes

Got a question, when i go to put my new piston in the blaster, is it necessary to drill small holes on the crown of the piston? (not all the way through, obviously)

why would you do that?? to lower compression?

Ive seen it done before. in the instruction book, it shows you the oil holes. with a pencil.

Not on a blaster just slap it in and run it, there is some bikes that have to have holes drilled on one of the bridges.

i think you are thinking about when people drill holes in the skirts if the exhaust has a bridge. it is to keep the bridge well lubed and cool.

yep there needs to be a sticky on that question. easy answer don't drill oil holes in a weisco piston you don't have an exhaust bridge. stock jugs that is.
