Bought a 99 for 500.... I bought a used kill switch and went to install it only to find duckt tape holding some of the wires together under the nose piece.... Can someone explain what is what for the light.. I have it so the kill switch works but not sure what else there is in there....

I have some vitos reeds to go in, just added maeir rear fenders, and also need to find out where to get a cover since the maeir fender air box is open on top....

thanks

Scott

Welcome! The green wire is the low beam & yellow is high, black is ground. Here's a link to an online manual that shows the complete wiring diagram. As far as an airbox lid goes most of us run with it off, just make sure to check your jetting because of more airflow. But if you really want one you can have my stock one but I don't know if it will fit on your Maeir setup.

Thanks for the info and the link I REALLY appreciate it...

It turns out it has boysen reeds, fmf fatty pipe, and power core 2, oil delete, torrs cable delete, and motion pro cables, and a k&n... Just going to be looking for the lower fender flaps, and front support....

Ill let you know how I make out....

thanks for the tips on Jetting... heres some pics as to what im looking at and hopefully I can get some help from here.....

What should I be looking at for jetting.. I have a boysen reed cage, fmf fatty gold, and powercore 2, stock size tires, oil inj delete, and the tors is gutted from the throttle lever but not sure down stream...

Thanks in advance

Well guess I wont be uploading pics the forum wont let me...

Well thanks to blasterdad and the link with the wiring diagram... I fixed my headache...

There was duct tape holding wires that were just spun together... The oil injection system was removed but all the wires were left in place hence why I was so confused...

Also the torss system just had the 2 wires twisted together down stream not under the front panel so that explained that connector... I cut and tidy'd up all the wires I didn't need and now it all makes perfect sense..

I also have an extra ground wire now, but also will be looking for a stock light or just go aftermarket since the yellow wire was cut...

Thanks again blasterdad
