Wiring Help

Hi all,
I am rebuilding my 1996 Blaster after racing and seeing how nice everyone's stuff is. i am trying to clean up the mess of wiring that is a blaster. can anyone put up a step by step way of removing all the wiring that isn't needed to run the motor. all i want is a key and a tether kill switch.

There was a very good thread on that last year, you might try searching for it. The manual has a very good wiring diagram in it and on page 7-5 you will see a version of it with everything but the ignition shaded. Eliminate all the shaded parts, plus the upper part including the TORS control box and the throttle and carb switches.

You could also eliminate either the key switch or the handlebar kill switch, but not both. Insulate any blk/wht wire ends well.
