This is probably a dumb question. and yes, im a noob.

I tore down my blaster, washed, painted, ect. i have the general idea of how the wire harness was ran. ive searched for an image and even downloaded the free manual and cant find just a simple picture of how the wire harness was ran from the factory. any help?

pretty sure thats in the manual, lemme look

nope, thats cable routing thats covered in the manual.

if i didn't know.....i'd start in the middle and work both ways.
connect the stator, coil and carb connections and work forward and back.
all wiring runs along the upper frame on the shifter side, there are foldable tabs to hold it in place, along the upper frame past the fuel shutoff, up on top of the cross brace to up under the hood, and back along the upper frame rail to the tail light and oil tank connections.
do not use the tabs or ty-raps to secure it until all connections are made, they are all color coded, and the diagrams in the manual can be used to double check.
once you get started it should all fall into place

no motor, just running everything while im waiting fir the fedex dude lol.

look for the marks/bend in the harness where the ty-rap held it to that cross brace of the frame it runs over under the fuel tank.
right beside the left front fuel tank bolt.

the orange wire to the coil is the only one i remember that doesn't provide much slack, if you start there and work forward, the rest should fall in place

i appreciate guys. one more question. i cannot get this main jet nozzle out of my carb. i want to let it set in my parts washer soaking until i get the rebuild kit, but i any and all rubber seal and o rings out before i do. how can i get it out

the needle jet nozzle pushes up thru into the throat of the carb, remove main jet and brass washer, use the correct size dowel or socket to push it up thru

if you remove all the jets, pilot, choke and the float valve, all the o-rings should be out

well shoot where do i get that? it dont come in the rebuild kit. and it was running without it lol.

the washer missing allows the main jet to sit higher in the fuel level, possibly starve for fuel, and definately creates jetting havoc.
the plastic slosh baffle holds fuel around the jet while in rough terrain and should be used
