I wrecked my blaster and bent the rear axle so i went on ebay and bought a rear axle from a 2001 yamaha blaster. It will fit on my blaster but the brake hub from my 03 blaster wont fit on the axle correctly. If I buy a brake hub and rotor from an 88-02 model will it fit with the hydraulic brake caliper on my 03 blaster? I cant return my axle and it would be a lot cheaper if i could by a brake hub from the older model.

If you get the hub it should work. Not sure if it will give you any problem using the floating hub with the floating caliper. If it does , you can drill a couple of small holes in the hub flange . Thread the holes and use set screws to make it a solid mount brake hub.

I would think it would work too! I have an 05 axle for sale! $60 shipped as long as you live in the lower 48 states! then you can resale the older one! Pm if interested

Thanks i just wasnt sure if i should buy more pieces not knowing if it will all fit together correctly.
