Ebay Kenda kutters in this size are way cheaper that the 7". I realize they are narrower and shorter....but its worth asking about I quess. Thanks

They are the Kenda kutter mx...about $75 plus shipping a pair on ebay. About 100 total. Any reason why I shouldn't get them? Im worried about switching them, but hopefully they won't be any more difficult than the stock size.

It really depends on your riding style and where you ride, bear in mind that there will be less rubber on the road and if you are in the habit of using the front wheels to pull you round the corner you may suffer under steer.

If you are drifting round the bends they should not present many problems as steering is mainly controlled by throttle variations.
