Yeah people get blinded by things like 240cc motors and stroker cranks and all these other modifications and they don't realize how bad their little 195cc's are being choked by a poor port design. Porting not only makes the ports larger to flow more air, but mobifies the port timing, allowing a builder to make your bike have the exact power characteristics that the customer wants. There is no better power enhancement than a good port job. once you can inhale (filter, carb) and exhale (exhaust) more efficiently. A 240 kit without porting is like having a Corvette Z06 with cams from a '91 camaro RS.

for more power you can double up on gaskets with the head miling so that its like a port job.. so im told not by a redneck though

If you want a power gain after the port job get a big carb. Nuff said.

bad idea and very little gain .o na blaster your stock port at bottom dead center alreayd has a thick wall on the bottom of your transfers due to a sh*tty oem design ....add more base thickness and it gets even worse
and more chance for heat and detonation

what about lowerin the jug? would increase compression like milling head and also lower all the ports, theoretically moving powerband towards bottom end. how hard is it to mill the base? ....i removed my base gasket and used gasketmaker for a slight drop. go ahead yell at me flotek lol

Why not just graft on a turbo from a '92 Mitsubishi Mirage and be done with it? Save your money and get it ported hick.......

yeah now just add a 150 shot of NOS and some stickers maybe some speed holes in the fenders and youll be outrunnin banshees=))

yall are some crazy newbies you kno how much modding and stuff it would take to put a turbo on and a blaster doesnt create enough exhaust to make a damn turbo work i seen a banshee with turbo but thats a BANSHEE !!! not a blaster but try it and see how many top ends youll go through in a years time
