UPDATEEE

So taking out the slide to change needle position, i notice some liquid, didnt smell, didnt burn, didnt taste, so i now know its water...Open up the whole tors system, and i find water in there!!

There was water piled up where the tors cable are...so now the question is, could this be the source of problem?? Water did get into the inside part of the slide where you drop the needle in and screw everything in place.

Seocnd Question: Tracking the origin of this water and eliminating it...gaskets look like new, open up the throttle cap and nothing up there...How can i clean my throttle cable completely eliminating any possible water?? Since i think this is the origin of it

UGH! Water may or may not be the source of your issues.

Personally, I would fool around with that TORS box crap, I'd buy a "for TORS delete" cable and carb kit and get rid of that thing. An added benefit of taking that big goofy box off the top of the carb is, it makes changing jetting SOOOOO much easier. You don't have to remove the carb to change your jetting.... you just loosen the two clamps on the boots and "lean" the carb float bowl out towards the left side of the quad.

Yep, im keeping my finger crossed that its the water fault, will report back later

250 main jet, needle on first groove(lowered most), 35 pilot jet, air screw 1.5 turns. Did plug chop, look at that plug! perfect tan!!! wtf is going on!! Where are all the god dam genious engine builders that havent showed up once on this god dam thread!!

Note: Video was taken with clip on second position of needle, still has the same problem anyways.

Kinda hard to tell, but if you look closely, at the end in the hill it bogs even tho i was in 1st gear

Alright, go outside and pull your spark plug boot off and look up in it. See if both of the little prongs are there and make sure the rubber around the ceramic isn't burnt up.....

i can tell you that its 1 of two things going wrong, either u have a bad ground or your coil is bad.

I truly felt this song deep in my heart, i sand the chorus multiple times in my head, i almost cried of joy...I finally have it running.

Here is the story:

Days before i had finished checking all wires, everything came up good, and after spending 40 bucks on a new ignition coil becuz i thought i had broke mine when i removed cap, still it didnt work and i went into a depression state. still was thinking about my jetting, it jsut had to be that, i called up multiple shops and noone had a 37.5 pilot jet. I ended up ordering one form rockymountainatvmc.com for 15 bucks ups 2 day shipped.

I get home, put in the the new pilot jet..F*** still nothing, at this point im crying, kicking the bike, cursing every single thing on this planet. So i say, lets go balls out, lets give this one more chance. I take out the airbox lid, i take out mikuni main jet and needle, and slap in the dynojet needle with the 350 dynojet main(compared it side to side to a mikuni 270,was a bit larger, im thinking equivalent is 280-290)...i leave the 37.5 pilot jet, air screw 2 turns out, i start her up, take her to my testing place in the backyard....

OMFG!!!! the power....its like im riding another bike, its like i freaking switch motors...no more bog, the hill it bogged in 1st, im climbing in 2nd gear...its also wet cuz it had jsut rained...im so freaking baffled...i the proceeded to a very emotional moment where what was described at the beginning of the post, took place. I havent done a plug chop, to verify im not on the lean side, but this thing is running incredible.

BUT!! now the thing is...how to use my imagination to seal that place so no water or mud gets in there, i ride mud conditions. Hit me up with ideas, i was thinking taking the stock airbox lid, cutting out the middle, only living the borders so i can bolt it on, and using it as a gasket effect. what do you think?

congrats dude lol I:I i ran mine with no lid and i ride soem naaasty muddy wet conditions and never had a problem. just get a good foam filter and rock it, if you are nervous you can always get a outerwears cover

Thanks! man the difference in power is incredible, throttle response is so unbelievable, i have a race sunday, and im confident im gonna eat that s** up lol Dont know what i was doing wrong when jetting last 10000 times, becuz i followed every single detail and only changed things, 1 at a time, then i go balls out, not thinking what im doing, ok i thought about it a lil lol, but finally i got it fix.

Thanks to everyone on this thread, specially sicivicdude who stood by me since day 1, and all other who chimed in, definately wouldnt have done it without everyones support and ideas.

I told you to pop that airbox lid off and slap you a 300 main in that mother. Hell you checked EVERYTHING else on the friggin quad... it had to be a lean bog.

Sweet you got 'er figured man!

Edit: be nice if I had looked who was signed into this computer BEFORE I posted that huh?

Yes, i feel so stupid for not popping that airbox lid out, reason i never did it was becuz of the mud conditions i run in, btu F that, ill figure something out, important thing is its running

You can go back now knowing it's NOT anything other than jetting and put the airbox lid back on and work your way around on jetting OR do as noober suggested and figure out a way to kinda water proof it without the airbox lid.

K&N "plug" filters in the airbox lid (but with the airbox lid installed) would work pretty well and be relatively safe...
