Whoops, need some help

Hey guys, I may have goofed, but I'm hoping somebody can shed some light on what happened. I'm in the process of dropping my blaster engine into a hardtail street bike frame and had to modify the front of the engine mount to do so. Basically I just needed to trim down the front mount 13/64 on each side but in the process of doing so, thinned some metal underneath to where a hole formed on each side. I assume that this is just a void in the casting of the front engine mount and doesn't actually go into the working portion of the engine block. If somebody has a block split in half that could verify this I wold greatly appreciate it.

Looks like your fine from what I can see from photos and videos online. Another person that has opened there engine should help soon. I have not been into mine yet.

You are fine with it there. It will not leak as the case halfs are sealed further in towards the crank. How long the cases will hold up will be the question. May last years, days, months. One will soon find out. I don't think you are going to like that power plant in a hard tail. imo

Thanks for the reply. I'm sure the hardtail frame isn't the most forgiving, but I haven't seen one yet and it beats the hell out of a moped for my around town riding. I've got other tools for longer rides.
