Hello everybody, I am looking for a place to send out my motor to be rebuilt and freshened up completely, i.e, main bearings, crank seals, fresh top-end. Just want to get it running and be reliable for the g/f. What shops out there do you recommend that are very reasonable in their prices for rebuilds? Thanks.

do it your self...imma do it with my uncle
Nah...tried that once already. I'm mechanically inclined so i decided to replace the crank seals and after starting the motor and running it for 5 minutes, it blew the crank seal again and started smoking like the car in the movie Uncle Buck. I just rather pay the pros this time around and be done with it.

well first you gota start with where the hell you are cuz this forum streatches all over the world. just find a local shop.
I'm located in central Cali. I don't have a problem with having to ship my motor out across the states, as the local shops are known to rape you without vaseline!:( So what are some shops out there? Thanks again.

There are three engine builders on this forum that regualarly buid engines. Wildcard, flotek and kennedy power. look them up and email them and ask them for a quoat. They can also get your the parts you need at a good price.
