realy distinct sounds like a bird. coming from the intake side could i have a damaged read? all stock blasty it still runs just seems to bog down and die when i let the clutch out. i let my wifes friend ride it and heared her over rev the f*ck out of it

sounds like it could be a reed issue, otherwise a blown gasket.

Only way to tell about the reeds is take it apart and look.

hey bud i had a bad lower cylinder gasket that had a huge leak and sounded exactly like that bird noise you speak of.

check your gaskets above and below the cylinder, as well as all reed gaskets

it wasn't the clynder gasket it was the reed valve gasket but i changed all the top end gaskets anyways runs like a champ.
