i had a b8es in there i tthk but wen i wen to the motorsports place they gave me the br8es.thats wat i use on all my dirtbikes.. (universal plug)???
if i can use it .20 is still the gap?

The r stands for resistor, I never noticed a difference using the normal b8es and the "resistor" br8es plug. Gap should be .7 - .8mm

^^Yup^^. You were just given a resistor plug, in place of the non-resistor one you had. It will work fine, and the gap remains the same. Resistors are used in spark plugs to prevent the high-frequency, high-voltage pluse coming from the ignition coil to the plug from interfering with sensitive electronic devices. For example, some lawn tractors on the market today have electronic instrument clusters. Scary, I know. Anyhow, these machines MUST be fitted with resistor spark plugs to prevent the engine's ignition system from making the gauges go haywire... :D
