whats the right jet kit for me

i have 2001 blaster i am puting on the fatty gold and i have the power core 2 and i am running a ready 2 stage filter thats it for now

go to a dealer and just buy a 250 260 and 270 main jet u should only use the 250 tho..

i was told just puting a new main jet wont give me anymore power i was looking at the dynojet kits stage 2

those things are a major rip off...
if im right all they give you is a jet kit a k&n a prefilter and a charger for like $110 or more.

oh yeah and just putting on a bigger main jet will not give you more power but it will get your air fuel mixture right so you dont blow up your engine....
because your flowing more air with the new exhaust but the same amount of gas so you put a bigger jet in so it will be back at the optimum air fuel ratio!!

You are much better off to buy an assortment of main jets online or from the dealer. They are anywhere from $3 to $8 each depending on source and several will cost less than a "jet kit". You need to learn how to do a propper plug chop to verify your jetting, recommendations will get you close...but, the exact jetting your bike needs will depend on many variables. And as Samolia said, a main jet merely corrects your air-fuel ratio for your existing mods to prevent engine damage or fouling of plugs.

only problem is prolly shipping is a little high on it..
