I recently got a blaster. Not sure if it has a vin but I have the motor off and the serial number is 3jm 183 184. Can anyone help?

Vin is on the left side of the frame of youre sitting on the blaster. At the bottom just in front of the shifter
I found a pic of where exactly it is and nothing is there on mine. Was possibly painted over. Is it a metal plate?
Damn. Yeah I think it was painted over. Frame is black n I don't see anything. Will look closer n the morning. I seen that the first 3 digits on motor identify model identification. Can I find the year from this? 3jm
I sanded off the paint a little and found out its a 1998 model. Don't have title but police dept confirmed its not stolen. Thanks!!!!!!
