What to expect at the dyno?

So far my mods are as follows and I'm curious as to what numbers I should be expecting later when we dyno the blaster. Any idea how much difference would an exhaust make? About 3 hours on the engine also.

.030 over Wiseco piston/rings

+4mm stroker crank

Cylinder ported for stroker crank

Milled head

Jetted to match obviously

Stock exhaust

my guess would be low to mid twenties. the limiting factor is the exhaust as it is acting like a big cork for all of your work. my friend took out his daughters blasters silencer guts and rejeted and the things runs sooo much better. i would recommend doing this at least-- maybe you will get solid mid twenties maybe I:I

almost forgot...depending on the exhaust, engine work, airbox, carb, and jetting you might see anywhere from 3-10 horsepower. again this is speculation and I am sure that others will have better info for you as there are alot of knowledgeable people on the site- and some active builders too.

Well it also has no air box lid. I plan to do a full exhaust, I know that is really killing the engine work. I want to do a before/after dyno though to see what gains are made and where in the power band, thats why I am doing one before as well.

You'd be surprised the difference in hp from the crank compared to the wheels. Most manufactuers only give hp numbers at the crank, especially in the automotive industry.

I know with a rear wheel drive car, you lose roughly 20-21% from the crank to the wheels...(automatic)

if its 17 at the crank, i can see 13-14 at the wheels
