Seeking advice ,
A few years ago, my Son Tony bought a Tri-z 250 to transplant into his blaster, I helped him with the project it was fun and it turned out pretty decent. Well Tony went into the Army and I bought his quad . So it would stay in the family.
A few things have cropped up since I taken possession. The thing vibertes severely , I can't keep the swing arm (tri-z arm) bolt tight .
I believe he crank bearings are toast and causing most of the issues .
So I'm ready to do a full rebuild of the engine i would like to broaden the power band and gain more power, I'm considering an upgrade to a yz250 top end to gain he power valve, or should I just have the jug ported and tune what I have?
Is there a stroker crank available for this engine ? If so, is it worth it$$$.
