what to do with all these nuts and bolts??

that kit is all allen head bolts.. exactly what i said earlier. doenst; matter what style head they had before.. the stainless kits are allen head..

stainless steel is harder, not softer than regular carbon steel

Beat me to it, but in the same breath you have to realize that harder isnt always better in a bolt. Some cheap stainless fastners can be an extreemly hard BRITTLE metal with no flex at all. Which would be why some people dont like running these bolts in there suspension parts I suppose. I am new to the quad world but in the drag racing world that is why people dont like running stainless on any part that is under much of a load, same idea.

Here is why it doesnt rust, I just read a little on the internet and translated metallurgy mumbo jumbo into this.

Stainless steel is different from carbon steel by the amount of chromium in it. Carbon steel rusts when exposed to air and moisture. Stainless steels have a bigger amount of chromium present so that a film of chromium oxide forms which stops any more surface corrosion and blocks corrosion from spreading into the metal. When stainless steel parts are forced together, the outside layer can be scraped off causing the parts to weld together. When disassembled, the welded material may pitted, and that is what galling is.

I just ordered the motor kit since my motor came missing half the bolts LOL. But I got the motot kit and full kit for my LT. I like them. But the real reason I got them for my LT was because I got lazy and didnt label and bag the bolts when i tore it down and the kits come labeled in seperate bags telling you where they go.

ok...question. i WAS gonna have them zinc coated but some of them are needing to be replaced sooooo im thinking of that stainless full bolt kit....but where did you get the lower a arm bolt and shock bolt and footpeg bolts polished stainless to match?...or do you

this is what the kit has
Air Box
Brake Rotor Bolts
Chain Roller & Guide
Clutch Lever Mount
Crankcase
Crankcase Covers
Foot Guards
Front Brake Reservoir & Cap
Front Bumper
Front Fender
Front Shocks
Fuel Tank Mount
Handle Bar Mount
Head & Cylinder Nuts
Headlight
Intake
Kick Starter
Lower A-Arms
Motor Mounts
Oil Tank Mount
Pipe Mounts
Rear Bumper
Rear Fender
Rear Master Cylinder
Rear Shock
Rear Skid Plate
Shifter
Steering Stem Mount
Taillight

This kit DOES NOT include the upper A-Arm bolts, the foot peg bolts and the main swingarm bolt. These are not available in stainless and are not in this kit. This set includes most of the fasteners on the bike but not all of them. I also label and bag all of the parts so you are not left in the dark as to where they go. THIS IS A VERY NICE SET!!

ya i get that...i'd like to get this kit as well, but it still needs me needing the most important bolts....is there anywhere to get them from?(footpegs, arms,)
