what shock is this

i bought this of ebay when i first got my blaster a few years ago and it has just been sitting around. it says yamaha on the resi. it is in pretty sad shape that why i never used it

I'm taking a wild guess and saying it's from a Tri-Z. I have no clue.

Looks like a dirtbike shock. Thats about all I can tell. Probably off a late 80's yz model.

it says "yamaha monocross" on it.

Thats a 88 yz125 could be off a yz250 earlier than 88 or later.

yep.that looks like it. when i saw it on ebay it was listed as a blaster shock but it was from one of those dudes who just buy cheap blasters up and part em out. I just saw a remote resi shock and jumped on it. i didn't know much about anything then. when i got it in i was very disapointed and wasn't even going to waste my time making it mount to my blaster. it'll look cool hangin on the wall with all the other crap i have that doesn't work. lol
