For a 250 it has good low end imo. Idk tho, u kinda just gotta get out and ride one of these rides 2 c if u like it or not. Actually riding an atv is the best way to find out what suits the terrain that u ride on as well as ur riding ability
there pissers to throw around in the yard (250) but thats it slow as sh*t, but i dont think a 300ex has reverse please correct me if im wrong
The 250ex has a switch next to the clutch lever i think that gives u the option to have a semi-auto clutch or a manual clutch. I think that ur best bet would be something a little bigger tho bcuz u would get really bored really quickly if u were to buy something that small

yes i second that... that is a really small quad...i would go with something like a 400ex...they are \okay in the power dept and my old one rode like a caddilac! it was an 01 piped and xtended axle...i paid 2200 and sold it for 2500 a few years ago..
He said that he doesnt want to spend more than $1000 so a z400 would most likely be out of the question
