What kind of Ploaris?

ok well my buddy just traded his busted bike for a 88 polaris 250 2 stroke, dont know what kind of polaris tho, we changed the jet on it to because the guy said it had a winter one in there and i guess its bored 30 over. any ideas?

The 250 polaris quad before the Trailblazer was the cyclone but I'm not sure what year they quit making the cyclone.

thanks guys, he wants to sell it to get a bike again but i think itd be easier to sell if he knew what kind it was, i think itd look cool all black with a +6 swingarm and a blaster motor, the guy says its just as fast as a stock blasty, but it looks a lot bigger, the frame is a box frame instead of the rounded metal which i though was also weird, o ya and its an automatic

that was for sale on chitown racing.. its a polaris trail boss 250cc 2 stroke oil injected, you can talk sh*t all you want about polaris but here is avid of my wifes that we traded for her blaster.. 1990 original piston and rings!!!!

yes it is oil injected, 4cfed, how far are you from chicago? its not too bad looking for being so big and old. i think it actually has good potential

im 3 hours form chitown... they ride very nice.. just leave it as it is and run good oil and good gas and it will never give you problems!!!! i ran pure polaris synth blend.. comes in a blue bottle.. there heavy but ride very very nice... there snow.. even though i ran side by side with a 250x with my wifes old one.. you can get jets, pipes and clutches for them.. if you pipe it and jet it you will have to re clutch it.. leave it stock, and put a trail boss or blazer 400 clutch kit in it( springs) will make it launch higher and harder... and wont hurt the ride ability of them, they become fussy when modded

there aclutch like asnow mobile... i beleve its called constant velosity or cvt... same as a sled... very effciant for keeping it in the power band...
