what is wrong with my quad?

so i went out today and tryed to ride my blaster and i started and let it sit for a lil, then i tried riding it and it ran like sh*t. i pressed the gas lightly and revved slowly and if i pressed the gas to much it just bogged out and died. watf is wrong with it? if anyone knws any ideas of whats wrong with it and how i can solve this problem please help me out-thanks

no its 95 so no parking brake switch, and i always used it in the cold weather when it snows. i start it up and try to rev it and it just dies. should i clean the carb?

clean carb, check compression, check air filter, check sparkplug, reeds. if you have leakdown try that after the easy stuff

you can get a compression tester at harbor freight for 20 some bucks, and Holeshotman on the site sels leakdown tester, both of these tools should be in the tool box of a 2 stroke owner

take the reeds off ints between the carb and the engine. if its broke its broke...

u go and take off the carb and manifold and if the reed is broken it is

A:cracked
B:MISSING

THOSE ARE 2 SIGNS THIS HAPPENED TO MINE AND IT DID THE SAME thing it was the reed
