I would suggest a +3 stroker and have your current topend ported to match. also the pipe would depend on what kind of riding you do and be sure and talk to your engine builder to see what he suggests. as for the reeds most will agree the vf3's are the best you can buy. if you dont need a spacer dont get it, the only reason for a spacer would be to move your carb bowl away from your clutch lever. If you go with a +3 crank and ported you can easily run a 30-35mm carb. you can find the 34mm pj's for pretty cheap on ebay so keep an eye out.

I would go with the plus 3 crank.stick with a stock bore jug with porting. VF 3 reeds,33-34mm carb. You only need the reed spacer for carb clearance . Call Ken. I'll bet he will tell you the same.

i was thinking that also but i was going to get the f7 fire breather kit and have it ken oconner ported

i dont beleive you need the firebreather kit if your going to have ken port it anyway... you were looking at the 200cc kit and not the 240 kit right?

i really thought about a BBK but i dont know anymore i cant really decide. i think a might just stay at 200cc because it is easier to find stock bore pistons

yeah bbks are a pain in the ass bro, mine was anyways, i had nothing but problems with it, but when i sent it to ken, we found out the problem. he fixed it and the motor sits at home awaiting me to put it in the +3 stroker. me i would go with the stock jug with an aggrssive trail port. find a cheap jug from here or ebay and have ken work his magic on it. stay away from the nickisil plated cylinders. me personally i dont like em.

good call.. i am stuck buying the wossner pistons for my vitos 240 at 170 a pop!! not to mention i can only bore it 2x and having a paper thin sleeve isnt good for anything but... well anything

Ya. The limited bores would suck. Just think of all the money you spend on the jug and pistons. Can't really afford to make a mistake on jetting and run lean. A couple of mistakes and your done.

if you want an oconnor port job then dont waste money on the firebreather kit. That kit is the standard f7 kit with a national port spec borderline drag port. And it is also intended to be run on 110 octane.

^^^^ He has already decided on an f7 pipe.

But may i chime in and say that i think and lrd pipe would do wonders for your future bike. I here good stuff about blasters with nasty port jobs from ken and +4 strokers breathing out of an lrd pipe. JMO.
