What are they worth?

I looked through all the topics and this seemed to be as good as any to ask this question.....what are they worth?

I am looking at selling my 89 Blaster and have no idea what they are going for on the market. I can't find any for sale, or any sales history to go by. I can take an uneducated guess, but I wouldn't want to insult people, not short change myself.

Would someone be willing to take a SWAG at the range in price one might sell an 89 Blaster for in the Ohio (Mid West) area?

It runs extremely well. Starts every time. Used to ride it in the deserts of CA, and for the last 14 years, only occasionally around my 30 acre farm. Has all it's fenders and tires are ok, but original. I put the stock exhaust back on it, for the slow riding I have done. The noise from the DG pipe it had wasn't what I wanted when not in the desert.

Your input is appreciated.

Preston.

Get on the internet and go to Craigslist.com. That is where I found mine and it will allow you to see other blasters in your area and what they are selling fore. I would think different parts of America will get diff. prices than others. Compare it on Craigslist.com

Thanks to all of your for the input.

There are no Blasters for sale in my area on CraigsList. That was the first place I looked. I looked in all the major cities around me as well.

I'm going to have to roll it out and take some pictures as the one's I have are all dated.

Thanks again. I have some place to start.

where in ohio? in the southern part, a stock 89 blaster depending on condition will pull around 600-700.
being that many people are not buying quads and it is a 89. another thing is, how fast do you want to sell it.
you could ask a grand till you sell it, but it will take a while.

Im looking at a 2000 blaster in my area right now that is suppose to be mint condition (havent gone to look yet) and he wants $1200.. but almost any quad sells for $800 min here...

Cheers

Nothing special about a 2000. Specwise, theyre the same as an 89, the only thing that COULD be good about it is it is newer, so maybe less running time and abuse.

Now if it is a 2003 or higher for 1k thats an awesome deal.
