ok well this will be my third thread lol, this blaster thing is getting sick lol.....

anyways ordered my factory 7 pipe should be here the end of the week, and took jug off today to send out for porting and found the damn piston has broken skirts...... but no pieces in the bottom end hmmmmm........looks like i got ripped.......

anyways the crank is also bad, and i am figuring why i got it apart i ll do a whole rebuild....

so this is where i m headed......

vito's stroker crank +3mm and vito bearings

bore the jug to 67mm but vito has no super stock pistons.....

so what brand would you guys use?????

clutches look good, but it looks like the basket has some grooves in it, but it almost looks like it should be that way from the factory but i am guessing it is bad....anyone can tell me if that is ok? if it is suppost to be that way?

anyway jsut give me some ideas...... i want this thing to run good, always thought it ran alittle weird.... cant wait to get her back together fresh and see what she feels like........

Well who will u send your topend too? Probobly going to get a wossner piston, that's what I'm going to be getting for my bb. The clutch basket should have some small grooves in it but if they look different from eachother its probobly wear. Post a pic and we can tell. Be sure and get the head redesigned while its getting ported too. R u running stock carb?

for now yes i will be running a stock carb at least till after x mas.... i think i might give ken o connor a call and just send the whole thing to him.....

so is that what it needs to be at 67mm and also id send the crank to ken to get a trued alot of people got bad vitos cranks that were outa true

for a 67mm bore size you cant do better than weisco they make pistons up to 68mm i think if you go to a bb at 72mm then get the wossner because they make a good forged piston as well. but the best for stock jugs is still weisco

port that shiot while its apart!! there some real good builders here to choose from. flotek did mine and im beyond happy with it but talk to them all and see who you like best.

so are you boring it to 67 cause you have to or cause you want to, wou want to keep it low, the slight power increase u may get is not worth the loss in cylinder life

thats what i was wondering if he was doing myself cause alot of new people make that mistake

wiseco piston

if you get the vito's crank get it from ken occonnor, he checks that stuff before shipping it.

have the top end ported, flotek, wildcard, or oconnor racing are all great choices

and since it'll be apart and the basket is grooved, you can file it smooth again, but a PE clutch basket is a great value. Hinson and barnett also make baskets to fit a blaster

most likely have to, it already has a 66.5 in it, and has some good gouges in it.

so you are saying vito's crank isnt good?

i figured for $125 to $150 to rebuild a crank i might as well get the stroker crank and be done with it......

you guys dont know how bad this is killing me lol.....i race go karts and i can build a nasty 4 stroke motor, but these 2 strokes are a complete different animal......

here is my 390 honda that i built (did the machine work and all) on my mini sprint kart....

that motor makes atleast twice the horsepower of the blaster 200......ask muddytoy, that motor is nasty!!!!! so i m no noob to motor building just to doing these 2 stroke porting lol

the vito's quality control isn't very good and a lot of times the vito's cranks need to be trued up right out of the box
