welding ?

im going to be welding a bracket on the frame for the rear brake master and res.

do i need to be concerned about the stator and coils

dont want to fry anything

you will be fine i have done the same and it never fried anything.

is it a wire feed or stick welder??? i know wire feed will not

Make sure you have a solid ground ie bare frame and make it as close to the weld as possible no worries

I've done quite a bit of welding with damn near the whole bike together. No probs with coil etc. One thing is I'm a bit goofy about gas lines, tank, etc. in the way. One stray spark and BOOM! End of swingarm is pretty far away from all that but be cautious. It's pretty thick steel, in order to have a nice penitrating weld you need to get it hot. Hot equals mad sparks.
