Wavy Rear Disc

I am going to buy some street bike brakes, probs Honda CBR600 ones.

But was wandering if wavy discs fit the same for all year blasters, because found one on ebay, but says only for 03-08 (UK)

As far as i knew, i thought that there wasnt any change with the actual disc, only that the main caliper went hydraulic?!

I belive they made the diameter of the disc smaller, but im not sure.
