is the voltage regulator just for the lights or what?im tryin to put some new lights on but when i hook the up to the wires that the headlight comes from only one comes on.anyone have any ideas how to get them to work right?my friend had his done but his got stolen before i had a chance to look to see how it was done.

there 55wattsbut i dont know if thats 55each or together.i think each because i can hook one up and its bright.so would unhooking the voltage regulator mess anything up?should it give me more watts if i disconnect it?

Yeah its prob. 55 each.

Removing the regulator will just allow more volts that will more then likely blow the bulb. The coil can only handle 55w at 12v which equals 4.5 Amps by increasing the volts you will lower the amps the lights pull but the coil will still only be caple of 55w.

I know you can order 75w stators on ebay for like 120 which is all I've been able to find and its what I'm going to do soon. Other then that I believe your stuck with just useing only one bulb, or one for low beam and one for high beam.

well if you want to run one high beam and one low beam you can do that or just run them both (with 25w bulbs)togeather on either high or low beam wire. putting both the hot wire togeather will not double your power..
