1.drain the oil from the engine

2.now remove the heal guard,and then remove the foot peg and rear breake assembly and let them hang down out of the way.

3.remove the kickstart lever.i had to tap the backside with a small hammer and work it back and fourth till it pulled off.DO NOT PRY BETWEEN THE CASE AND THE LEVER<CAN CRACK THE CASE.

4.now remove the pump cover
hang on to the rubber gromit that the lines go through you will need this in reassembly.
remove the two lines from the oil pump
now remove the two screws that mount the oil pump and leave the pump drive gear alone for now.

5.now remove the clutch cover bolts,and remove the cover.
you have a kickstart lever return spring in here if it comes out on removal this shows where it gos.

6. now in the clutch cover is the plastic gear that can breake or strip and cause problems.
remove the c-clip and slide the shaft pin out.

7.now remove the second c-clip that holds the shaft in and remove the shaft.

8.now remove the shaft sleave i used vise grips and twisted it out.

9. install the pump cover and new gasket

10.now install new clutch cover gasket and install the clutch cover.

11. now remove the gromit on the lines and install the plugs into the grommit holes.(i put rtv silicone on the plugs for a water tite seal.

12.install the pump cover back on the clutch cover.

13. now pull the oil injection supply hose from the carb and place the little plug in its place to plug the small hole.so the carb cant suck ait from that point.

14. now remove all the lines and the rear oil tank and tape up the pump sensoe wires and tie them out of the way.

15. drain all fuel from the gas tank and premix at 32-1.
i also drained the fuel from the bowl of the carb just to be safe.

16.you are done
