Vito's 240 with wossner piston intake port mismatch?

I've read a time or two of someone running a forged wossner (LA Sleeve) 72mm piston with the vito's 240 kit, but looking at pictures it seems the intake porting doesn't match up. The cylinder has two large ports with a bridge in the middle, and the piston has one central cutout that would barely peek out on either side of that bridge.

If I remember correctly 89custom questioned this setup in his build thread, but it ended up running fine. So what's the lowdown? Does this sacrifice a lot of power? I'm exploring options with my motor and this got me thinking.

I would have in the past ordered the Wiseco replacement for them, but the Wiseco is out of production and has been replaced in LA Sleeves lineup with the Wossner. The Wossners window is large enough to provide ample window area on either side of the bridge. The Wossner is also boost ported, which will aid in crankcase filling, wristping lubrication and crown cooling. It is deffinately an upgrade over the Vito's offering IMO
