Vitos 240 Reed spacer

I have a Vito's 240 kit and i have a reed spacer that seems to be making me lose power but when i called vito's they said flip it around? i tried that and nothing? i went to take it off but for some reason something doesn't match up? i was just wondering if any of you guys (or girls) can help me?

garbage take it off, you might have busted reeds now, i did, take the reed cage out and check, but what type of reed cage do you have?

vito's. i bought it when i bought the big bore im gunna get mad if i have to buy new reeds vito's told me i needed it? thats what i dont understand?

the only time you NEED it is for carb clearance if you can get your carb to the boot w/o it, you don't need it

if you have v force cage pull the cage out put the spacer up to the mounting of the cage holes, and see if you can pop the middle of the cage out, if you can the reason you are losing power is because your reeds aren't seated they are just flapping, and probably getting damaged, like mine did, hence i do not run the spacer anymore, and you have to take the reeds off to check em, i made that mistake because i pulled mine out hundreds of times and checked, well when i took them off they were cracked at the top, oh if they are, 60 bux my man!

probably not, but maybe its worth a shot. cuss them out hard enough you might thats how i do it!

well you cant go by that ,they are in business to make money they will sell you boost bottles ,handy dandy jet kits ,degree keys and genuine racing stickers if youl l agree
