Vito's 240 Big Bore Cylinder Kit

You will feel a difference. Only think I would want that doesn't come with it is a forged piston and a oem base gasket. You should consider getting the head modified as well as a port job. The casting flaws on these cylinders can be pretty ugly... I would upgrade your carb and exhaust also if you haven't already.

Ok. I already have an FMF Fatty pipe and Powercore 2 silencer, Boyesen power reeds, No parking brake, Kenda klaw 20x11x8 rear tires, UNI air filter, Oil injection delete, and the air box lid has six 1/2" holes and the snorkel was removed.

get u a 34mm carb, a cfm airbox, the fmf isnt really a good exhaust for a 240, i dont know personally but have heard different things about it, i reccomend an lrd, dynoport, f7etc, all the good ones they tell about, i have the cpi big bore pipe, havent tested it yet but im hearing good things about it, up to u though, the biggest thing is get that biotch ported and get the head modded.

Ya. I got the fmf for my b-day (march 28th of this year) and then started reading about the lrd. :( I know the fmf isn't the best but I'm going to keep it. I heard the piston wasn't that good in the 240 kit. Do I realy need to buy a new 1? Cuz it is already about $575.00 and I dont want to have to buy something thats already in the kit.

The kit does come with a piston but its a cast piston. Totally usable but a forged would be more durable. As for the carb, I would go with a 35pwk. You ill have to mod your intake setup somehow to fit it though.

la sleeve uses a sleeve (duh) and the Ct sonic kit uses Nikasil plating right? other than that what is the difference between the 2 in terms of port layout/timing..

ps sorry for thread jacking! just a quick question!
