Vforce not impressed

I can. He expected better throttle response and a greater power increase than they gave him. G3 is the way to go. I've had the vforce, boyensen, and the g3's.

having twice the tip area is a huge advantage and really helps ..problem is for guys with stockish engines they dont make use of the high flwoing reeds like a modifed ported one will .they have other roadblocks/bottlenecks in the porting design .this is why testing the available cfm flow of reed blocks is inaccurate ,its how it performs on that particular engine that really counts .a 2stroke is like a zigsaw puzzle everything must fit together and work in unison.this is why somtimes billys bike down the street responded awesome to a new pipe(pick a bolton) but when you did it ,well yours only felt marginal gains .some dyno testing showed the upper boost port and intake ramp need reworked and modifed on these older 70's intake designs to see the good gains and make use of the reed area vforce offer.the transfers are another huge bottleneck .by the way 1dirracing G3 are not as good as vforce reeds its been proven time and time again but i will say they do make a nice cage for the 85 and 86 lt250r

I had vf3 for awhile but one reed ended up chipping. The gain on these was just noticeable not much though.

I just rode with the pro series reeds. I can tell you they don't do much except it does take off from idle faster..and I cant tell much diff from the vf3 though they both are better.

I think reeds work just like a carb, a 35mm carb isnt going to do much for stock. Unless you have the extra power and engine demand for it.

lol i want a pair of v force they are way better then eny thing. modded motor you can get more power and the v force just tops it out on top of every thing just making the motor run its top power and REALLY GOOD THROTTLE RESPONSE!!!!

v force are stiffer and larger airflow for better hp at higher rpms but stock and thin petals are better for lower power curve with a lower airflow but will give you flutter at higher rpms and lose performance. hp gains on reeds and other parts depends how your engine is setup to utilize the parts being changed.
