having twice the tip area is a huge advantage and really helps ..problem is for guys with stockish engines they dont make use of the high flwoing reeds like a modifed ported one will .they have other roadblocks/bottlenecks in the porting design .this is why testing the available cfm flow of reed blocks is inaccurate ,its how it performs on that particular engine that really counts .a 2stroke is like a zigsaw puzzle everything must fit together and work in unison.this is why somtimes billys bike down the street responded awesome to a new pipe(pick a bolton) but when you did it ,well yours only felt marginal gains .some dyno testing showed the upper boost port and intake ramp need reworked and modifed on these older 70's intake designs to see the good gains and make use of the reed area vforce offer.the transfers are another huge bottleneck .by the way 1dirracing G3 are not as good as vforce reeds its been proven time and time again but i will say they do make a nice cage for the 85 and 86 lt250r
